AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for requirement for commercial
3 driver's license.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 1606(b) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
8 § 1606. Requirement for commercial driver's license.

10 (b) Exemptions.--The following persons are not required to
11 obtain a commercial driver's license in order to drive the
12 commercial motor vehicle specified:

14 (6) A person employed by the department who is the
15 holder of a Class B license and who has a certificate of
16 authorization from the department to remove vehicles from a
17 tunnel or its approaches, if permitted by Federal
18 regulations.

2 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
