                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for resident fishing licenses.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  Section 2701(b) of Title 30 of the Pennsylvania
     6  Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
     7  § 2701.  Resident fishing licenses.
     8     * * *
     9     (b)  Senior citizens.--A person [65] 60 years of age or older
    10  at the time of application who complies with subsection (a)(1)
    11  and (2) is entitled to a "Senior Resident Fishing License" if he
    12  pays a license fee of $2 to the issuing agent or the commission
    13  plus a service fee of 50¢ to the issuing agent. The application
    14  shall give the date of birth of the applicant. Any person who
    15  qualifies to purchase a Senior Resident Fishing License may, in

     1  lieu thereof, purchase a Senior Resident Fishing License which
     2  shall be valid for his lifetime upon the payment of a fee of $10
     3  for the use of the Commonwealth and, in the event the license is
     4  issued by an issuing agent, a fee of 50¢ for the use of the
     5  issuing agent.
     6     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
