AN ACT
1 Amending the act of July 11, 1996 (P.L.677, No.116), entitled
2 "An act providing for an infrastructure development program,
3 for grants and loans for infrastructure improvements in
4 relation to private developer investment, for duties of the
5 Department of Community and Economic Development and for
6 eligibility requirements and application procedures; and
7 making repeals," further defining "private company."
8 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
9 hereby enacts as follows:
10 Section 1. The definition of "private company" in section 2
11 of the act of July 11, 1996 (P.L.677, No.116), known as the
12 Infrastructure Development Act, is amended to read:
13 Section 2. Definitions.
14 The following words and phrases when used in this act shall
15 have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
16 context clearly indicates otherwise:

18 "Private company." A for-profit enterprise engaged in
19 manufacturing, industrial, research and development or
1 agricultural processing[; or is], a school engaged in the
2 technical training of persons to work for such enterprises or an
3 export service enterprise.

5 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
