                                     AN ACT

     1  Prohibiting municipalities from requiring the registration or
     2     licensing of persons for the purpose of engaging in the
     3     business of building construction, renovation or remodeling.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6  Section 1.  Certain ordinances prohibited.
     7     No municipality shall have the authority to require the
     8  registration or licensing of any person for the purpose of
     9  engaging in the business of building construction, renovation or
    10  remodeling.
    11  Section 2.  Existing ordinances abrogated.
    12     All existing ordinances in violation of this act are hereby
    13  abrogated.
    14  Section 3.  Effective date.
    15     This act shall take effect immediately.
