AN ACT
1 Amending Title 37 (Historical and Museums) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for sites.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 303 of Title 37 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
7 § 303. Sites.
8 The commission shall have the power and duty to:

10 (8) Civilian Conservation Corps structures.--Lease to a
11 nonprofit organization, for educational, historical or
12 community services use, a structure which is owned by the
13 Commonwealth, which has been built by the Civilian
14 Conservation Corps and which can be occupied by individuals.
15 A lease under this paragraph shall transfer possession to the
16 organization for a definite term in return for restoration
17 and maintenance of the structure, to the satisfaction of the
1 commission.
2 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
