AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for the penalty for unauthorized
3 use of a person with a disability or severely disabled
4 veteran plate or parking placard.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Section 3354(f) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
8 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
9 § 3354. Additional parking regulations.

11 (f) Penalty.--A person violating subsection (a), (b) or
12 (d)(1) is guilty of a summary offense and shall, upon
13 conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $15. A
14 person violating subsection (d)(2) or (3) or (e) is guilty of a
15 summary offense and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay
16 a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $200 and shall have
17 his driver's license suspended for a period of 30 days. If a
1 person is convicted under subsection (d)(2) or (3) in the
2 absence of a sign stating the penalty amount, the fine imposed
3 may not exceed $50.

5 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
