AN ACT
1 Amending Title 20 (Decedents, Estates and Fiduciaries) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for the removal
3 and replacement of a corporate fiduciary.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 20 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 7122. Removal and replacement of corporate fiduciary.
9 In addition to grounds of removal for cause, upon petition by
10 all individual co-trustees, income beneficiaries and sui juris
11 presumptive remaindermen, a court shall remove and replace a
12 corporate fiduciary with another corporate fiduciary without
13 cause, but no more frequently than twice in any ten-year period.
14 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
