                                     AN ACT

     1  Requiring certain institutions of higher education to accept
     2     transferring students' credits.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5  Section 1.  Transfer of credits.
     6     An institution of higher education in this Commonwealth that
     7  receives funds from the Commonwealth other than funds received
     8  from or through the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance
     9  Agency shall accept at full value the credits received by a
    10  student transferring from another institution of higher
    11  education in this Commonwealth.
    12  Section 2.  Effective date.
    13     This act shall take effect immediately.
