A RESOLUTION 1 Urging the Governor to establish an economic partnership with 2 Poland, in particular, and Eastern Europe, in general, in 3 light of the changing political and economic conditions in 4 the Soviet bloc. 5 WHEREAS, Changing political and economic conditions in the 6 Soviet bloc of nations provide opportunities which may be 7 mutually beneficial to those nations and this Commonwealth; 8 therefore be it 9 RESOLVED, That the Senate of Pennsylvania urge the Governor 10 to take steps to establish an economic partnership with Poland, 11 in particular, and the other nations of Eastern Europe.
