1Repealing the act of April 16, 1862 (P.L.538, No.513), entitled
2"An act relating to certain Children's Homes."

3The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4hereby enacts as follows:

5Section 1.  The act of April 16, 1862 (P.L.538, No.513),
6entitled "An act relating to certain Children's Homes," is
7repealed:

9Relating to certain Children's Homes.

10Section 1.  Commitment of children to certain institutions

11It shall and may be lawful for any judge, mayor, alderman or
12justice of the peace of the City of Philadelphia, to indenture,
13bind or commit to the St. John's Orphan Asylum, or the St.
14Vincent's Home, located in the City of Philadelphia, orphan,
15destitute, abandoned or vagrant children.]

16Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
