                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Designating October 1, 2005, as "Upper Darby Township
     2     Neighborhood Unity Day."

     3     WHEREAS, Upper Darby Township, in cooperation with the
     4  Township Weed and Seed Committee, local businesses, Delaware
     5  County community service crews and other area organizations, are
     6  sponsoring "Neighborhood Unity Day" on October 1, 2005; and
     7     WHEREAS, Volunteers will donate their time to clean, repair,
     8  landscape and perform general maintenance in Upper Darby
     9  Township; and
    10     WHEREAS, The event will bring together volunteers to help
    11  improve the community; therefore be it
    12     RESOLVED, That the Senate designate October 1, 2005, as
    13  "Upper Darby Township Neighborhood Unity Day."
