        INTRODUCED BY SALVATORE, REIBMAN, HELFRICK, CORMAN, MUSTO,
           PETERSON, LEMMOND AND LYNCH, JANUARY 23, 1989

        REFERRED TO TRANSPORTATION, JANUARY 23, 1989

                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, prohibiting the possession of an
     3     altered or false driver's license by a person under the age
     4     of 21.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     8  Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
     9  § 6307.1.  Possession of altered or false driver's license.
    10     A person commits a misdemeanor of the third degree if he,
    11  being under 21 years of age, possesses an altered or false
    12  driver's license.
    13     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
