AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for decals on registered
3 snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 7712(a) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 7712. Registration of snowmobiles and registration and
9 issuance of certificates of title for ATV's.
10 (a) General rule.--Upon application therefor upon a form
11 prescribed and furnished by the department which shall contain a
12 full description of the snowmobile or ATV, the actual and bona
13 fide name and address of the owner, proof of ownership and any
14 other information the department may reasonably require, and
15 which shall be accompanied by the required fee, the department
16 shall issue a certificate of registration of a snowmobile or an
17 ATV and a decal showing the expiration date to the owner. The
18 decal shall visibly display a color-coded identification number
1 corresponding with the Pennsylvania Game Commission regional
2 district in which the registered owner resides.
