        INTRODUCED AND ADOPTED, APRIL 19, 2006

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Designating April 20, 2006, as "Care By Celebrating Children
     2     Day" in Pennsylvania.

     3     WHEREAS, The anniversary of the Columbine tragedy that
     4  occurred on April 20, 1999, has been set aside as a day to honor
     5  the goodness and talent of children in schools throughout our
     6  country; and
     7     WHEREAS, All people in this Commonwealth should encourage
     8  children to take pride in their scholastic endeavors; therefore
     9  be it
    10     RESOLVED, That the Senate designate April 20, 2006, as "Care
    11  By Celebrating Children Day" in Pennsylvania.
