AN ACT
1 Providing for advance payment of property taxes.
2 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
3 hereby enacts as follows:
4 Section 1. Advance property tax payment.
5 A taxpayer may elect to pay taxes levied on property, real or
6 personal, imposed by authority of a taxing district or political
7 subdivision in advance of the year due. Advance payment of
8 property taxes shall be limited to one year's taxes, payable
9 during the year immediately prior to the taxable year.
10 Section 2. Effective date.
11 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
