AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for arson and
3 related offenses.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 3301 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 3301. Arson and related offenses.

10 (h.1) Prohibition on certain service.--A person convicted of
11 violating this section shall be prohibited from serving as a
12 member of a volunteer firefighter company FIREFIGHTER IN THIS <--
13 COMMONWEALTH and shall be prohibited from being certified as a
14 firefighter under section 4 of the act of November 13, 1995
15 (P.L.604, No.61), known as the State Fire Commissioner Act.

17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
