AN ACT
Amending Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in fireworks, further providing for definitions
and, for sales locations AND FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The definition of "NFPA 1124" in section 1101 of
Title 3 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, added July
11, 2022 (P.L.762, No.74), is amended to read:
§ 1101. Definitions.
The following words and phrases when used in this chapter
shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
context clearly indicates otherwise:

and Retail Sales of Fireworks and Pyrotechnic Articles, 2006
edition.]

(P.L.762, No.74), is amended to read:
SECTION 2. SECTIONS 1107(8) AND 1111 OF TITLE 3, ADDED JULY
11, 2022 (P.L.762, NO.74), ARE AMENDED TO READ:
§ 1107. Sales locations.
Consumer fireworks shall be sold only from facilities which
are licensed by the Department of Agriculture and that meet the
following criteria:

(8) [The facility shall comply with the requirements of
NFPA 1124] (Reserved).

§ 1111. ATTORNEY GENERAL.
AN INDIVIDUAL OR ENTITY WHICH PERFORMS, PROVIDES OR
SUPERVISES CONSUMER FIREWORKS OR DISPLAY FIREWORKS DISPLAYS OR
EXHIBITIONS FOR PROFIT SHALL REGISTER ANNUALLY WITH THE ATTORNEY
GENERAL IN ACCORDANCE WITH 37 PA. CODE CH. 711 (RELATING TO
REGISTRATION FOR FIREWORKS DISPLAYS). A CERTIFICATE OF
REGISTRATION ISSUED BY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL SHALL BE PROVIDED
UPON REQUEST BY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS.
Section 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
