        REFERRED TO TRANSPORTATION, MARCH 14, 1997

                                     AN ACT

     1  Designating a section of Legislative Route 48 in Allegheny
     2     County as the Leonard A. Funk, Jr. Highway.

     3     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     4  hereby enacts as follows:
     5     Section 1.  The section of Legislative Route 48 from the
     6  Walnut Street intersection in McKeesport to the intersection on
     7  Legislative Route 130 in Monroeville is designated and shall be
     8  known as the Leonard A. Funk, Jr. Highway.
     9     Section 2.  The Department of Transportation shall erect and
    10  maintain appropriate signs identifying the above portion of road
    11  as the Leonard A. Funk, Jr. Highway.
    12     Section 3.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
