AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for a special registration plate for
3 submarine veterans.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 1360. Special plates for submarine veterans.
9 Upon application of any person who is a veteran of a
10 submarine crew, accompanied by a fee of $20 which shall be in
11 addition to the annual registration fee and by such
12 documentation as the department shall require, the department
13 shall issue to the person a special registration plate
14 designating the vehicle so licensed as belonging to a person who
15 is a veteran of a United States submarine crew. The special
16 registration plate may be used only on one passenger vehicle or
17 one other vehicle with a registered gross vehicle weight rating
18 of not more than 9,000 pounds.
1 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
