AN ACT
1 Amending the act of May 1, 1933 (P.L.103, No.69), entitled, as
2 reenacted and amended, "An act concerning townships of the
3 second class; and amending, revising, consolidating and
4 changing the law relating thereto," providing for posting
5 audits and for contracts for financial employees.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. The act of May 1, 1933 (P.L.103, No.69), known as
9 The Second Class Township Code, reenacted and amended November
10 9, 1995 (P.L.350, No.60), is amended by adding sections to read:
11 Section 918. Posting Audits.--A township which has an
12 Internet website shall post all fiscal audits on the Internet
13 website.
14 Section 3110. Manager and Finance Director; Employment
15 Contracts.--A township which employs a manager or a finance
16 director must employ the manager or finance director pursuant to
17 a written contract. An employment contract under this section
18 must be for a period that is not less than two years.
19 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
