AN ACT 1 Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the 2 approval of the Governor, to sell and convey to Upper 3 Skippack Mennonite Church, certain improved land situate in 4 the Township of Skippack, County of Montgomery, Commonwealth 5 of Pennsylvania. 6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 7 hereby enacts as follows: 8 Section 1. Conveyance authorization. 9 The Department of General Services, with the approval of the 10 Governor, is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the 11 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to grant, sell and convey to Upper 12 Skippack Mennonite Church, for consideration of $1 FAIR MARKET <-- 13 VALUE AS DETERMINED BY AN INDEPENDENT APPRAISAL, the tract of 14 land described in section 2. 15 Section 2. Property description. 16 The property to be conveyed pursuant to section 1 is the 17 following tract of land, bounded and described as follows: 18 All that certain tract of land situate in the Township of <-- 19 Skippack, County of Montgomery, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as
1 shown on a Plan of Survey prepared for Upper Skippack Mennonite 2 Church by Urwiler & Walter, Inc., dated November 30, 1994, 3 bounded and described as follows to wit: 4 Beginning at a point on the center line of Cressman Road, 5 said point being a common property corner of lands now or late 6 of Upper Skippack Mennonite Church and lands of the Commonwealth 7 of Pennsylvania; thence from said point of beginning extending 8 along the common property line of lands of Upper Skippack 9 Mennonite Church and lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 10 the following three courses and distances: (1) north 44 degrees 11 42 minutes 30 seconds west 201.99 feet to a point, a corner; (2) 12 south 52 degrees 32 minutes 50 seconds west 619.09 feet to a 13 point, a corner; (3) south 37 degrees 27 minutes 10 seconds east 14 227.75 feet to a point on the center line of Cressman Road, a 15 corner; thence from said point extending along the center line 16 of Cressman Road the following two courses and distances: (1) 17 south 49 degrees 13 minutes 33 seconds west 234.16 feet to a 18 point, a corner; (2) south 45 degrees 53 minutes 33 seconds west 19 222.85 feet to a point, a corner; thence from said point 20 extending through lands of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania the 21 following three courses and distances: (1) north 4 degrees 8 22 minutes 4 seconds west 772.59 feet to a point, a corner; (2) 23 north 46 degrees 11 minutes 42 seconds east 806.10 feet to a 24 point, a corner; (3) south 43 degrees 48 minutes 18 seconds east 25 650 feet to a point on the center line of Cressman Road, a 26 corner; thence from said point extending along the center line 27 of Cressman Road south 46 degrees 11 minutes 42 seconds west 28 198.94 feet to the point and place of beginning. 29 Containing 12.03 acres of land more or less. 30 ALL THAT CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND SITUATE IN THE TOWNSHIP OF <-- 19970S1011B2034 - 2 -

1 EXTENDING ALONG THE CENTER LINE OF CRESSMAN ROAD SOUTH 46 2 DEGREES 11 MINUTES 42 SECONDS WEST 198.94 FEET TO THE POINT AND 3 PLACE OF BEGINNING. 4 CONTAINING 3.756 ACRES OF LAND MORE OR LESS. 5 Section 3. Easements, etc. 6 The conveyance shall be made under and subject to all 7 easements, servitudes and rights of others, including, but not 8 confined to, streets, roadways and rights of any telephone, 9 telegraph, water, electric, sewer, gas or pipeline companies, as 10 well as under and subject to any interest, estates or tenancies 11 vested in third persons, whether or not appearing of record, for 12 any portion of the land or improvements erected thereon. 13 Section 4. Deposit of proceeds. 14 The proceeds of this sale shall be paid into the State 15 Treasury and deposited in the General Fund. 16 Section 5. Approval and execution of deed. 17 The deed of conveyance shall be approved as provided by law 18 and shall be executed by the Secretary of General Services in 19 the name of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 20 Section 6.
