AN ACT
1Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, further providing Pennsylvania Gaming Economic
3Development and Tourism Fund.
4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:
6Section 1. Section 1407(d.1) of Title 4 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8§ 1407. Pennsylvania Gaming Economic Development and Tourism
9Fund.

11(d.1) Community and economic development.--
12(1) Notwithstanding subsection (b) or any other
13provision of law to the contrary, the money authorized but
14not expended under former subsection (d)(7) as of the
15effective date of this subsection shall be deposited into a
16restricted receipts account to be established in the
17Commonwealth Financing Authority exclusively for eligible
18applications submitted [by the redevelopment authority of a
1county of the second class created pursuant to the act of May
224, 1945 (P.L.991, No.385), known as the Urban Redevelopment
3Law,] to the Commonwealth Financing Authority for economic
4development, infrastructure development, job training,
5community improvement, public safety or other projects in the
6public interest located in a county of the second class.
7Community development corporations, political subdivisions,
8urban redevelopment authorities, municipal authorities, for-
9profit entities and nonprofit entities located in a county of
10the second class shall be eligible to receive funds made
11available under this paragraph.
12(2) Notwithstanding the Capital Facilities Debt Enabling
13Act, funding under the paragraph (1) may be utilized as local
14matching funds for grants or loans from the Commonwealth.
