AN ACT
1 Providing for supplemental grants to the Low Income Home Energy
2 Assistance Program from salary increase funds.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Supplemental appropriation.
6 Money appropriated for but not expended for the act of July
7 7, 2005 (P.L.201, No.44), entitled "An act amending Titles 42
8 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure), 46 (Legislature) and 71
9 (State Government) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes,
10 providing for compensation; and making an inconsistent repeal,"
11 shall be transferred to the Department of Public Welfare to be
12 used for supplemental grants to the Low Income Home Energy
13 Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for the 2005-2006 fiscal year.
14 Section 2. Effective date.
15 This act shall take effect December 1, 2005.
