        SENATOR MADIGAN, TRANSPORTATION, AS AMENDED, APRIL 14, 2004

                                     AN ACT

     1  Designating Route 222 THE PROPOSED ROUTE 222 BYPASS in Lehigh     <--
     2     County from the point immediately South of I-78 in Lower
     3     Macungie Township, Lehigh County through portions of Upper
     4     Macungie Township, Lehigh County to the south interchange of
     5     Route 100 in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County as the
     6     Fred Jaindl Memorial Highway.

     7     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     8  hereby enacts as follows:
     9  Section 1.  Fred Jaindl Memorial Highway.
    10     (a)  Designation.--The portion of Route 222 THE PROPOSED       <--
    11  ROUTE 222 BYPASS in Lehigh County from the point immediately
    12  south of I-78 in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County through
    13  portions of Upper Macungie Township to the south interchange of
    14  Route 100 in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County is hereby
    15  designated and shall be known as the Fred Jaindl Memorial
    16  Highway.
    17     (b)  Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
    18  maintain signs, which shall display the name of the highway
    19  designated in subsection (a), at each end of the named segment.


     1  Section 2.  Effective date.
     2     This act shall take effect in 60 days.
