                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     2     Statutes, further providing for personal antique, classic and
     3     collectible registration plates.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  Section 1340 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
     7  Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
     8  § 1340.  Antique, classic and collectible plates.
     9     * * *
    10     (a.1)  Personal registration plate.--Upon application by the
    11  vehicle owner under subsection (a), the department shall issue a
    12  personal antique, classic or collectible registration plate
    13  consisting of any combination of numbers, letters or numbers and
    14  letters. The department may refuse any combination of letters
    15  and numbers for cause and may adopt reasonable rules and
    16  regulations for implementing the provisions of this subsection.
    17  The applicant shall pay any additional fee required for the
    18  issuance of a personal registration plate.
