           BRIGHTBILL, PICCOLA AND GERLACH, SEPTEMBER 27, 1999

        AS REPORTED FROM COMMITTEE ON TRANSPORTATION, HOUSE OF
           REPRESENTATIVES, AS AMENDED, OCTOBER 4, 1999

                                     AN ACT

     1  Designating a portion of U.S. Route 322 in Juniata County,        <--
     2     Mifflin County and Centre County as the J. Doyle Corman
     3     Highway.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6     Section 1.  The sections of U.S. Route 322 in Juniata County,  <--
     7  Mifflin County and Centre County, from the Arch Rock Road Exit    <--
     8  WESTBOUND SEGMENT 291, OFFSET 1259, AND EASTBOUND SEGMENT 290,    <--
     9  OFFSET 1223, in Juniata MIFFLIN County to the intersection with   <--
    10  SR 144 in Centre County, are hereby designated as the J. Doyle
    11  Corman Highway.
    12     Section 2.  The Department of Transportation shall erect and
    13  maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the highway to
    14  both eastbound and westbound traffic.
    15     Section 3.  This act shall take effect immediately.
