AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for attachment
3 of the property of certain support obligors.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 42 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 7503. Attachment of property of support obligor.
9 If a plaintiff in a civil action is a delinquent child
10 support obligor under 23 Pa.C.S. (relating to domestic
11 relations) or is liable for support paid by a public body or
12 public agency under the act of June 13, 1967 (P.L.31, No.21),
13 known as the Public Welfare Code, the court may order the
14 attachment of an award of a jury or a judge or the proceeds of a
15 settlement of the action.
16 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
