AN ACT
1 Amending Title 30 (Fish) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, exempting certain military personnel from license
3 requirements.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 2709 of Title 30 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
8 § 2709. Exemptions from license requirements.

10 (f) Military personnel.--
11 (1) The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to
12 persons who satisfy all of the following:
13 (i) Are residents of this Commonwealth.
14 (ii) Are on active and full-time duty in the United
15 States Armed Forces.
16 (iii) Are assigned to a facility outside this
17 Commonwealth.
18 (iv) Are on temporary leave in this Commonwealth.
1 (v) Have on their person while fishing evidence of
2 Commonwealth residency and a copy of their orders
3 assigning them to temporary leave.
4 (2) Such persons shall comply with the regulations of
5 the commission.
6 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
