AN ACT
1 Amending Title 23 (Domestic Relations) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, further providing for protection from
3 abuse proceedings.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 6340(a)(5.1) of Title 23 of the
7 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 6340. Release of information in confidential reports.
9 (a) General rule.--Reports specified in section 6339
10 (relating to confidentiality of reports) shall only be made
11 available to:

13 (5.1) A court of common pleas in connection with any
14 matter involving custody of a child or any action under
15 Chapter 61 (relating to protection from abuse). The
16 department shall provide to the court any reports and files
17 which the court considers relevant.
