        REFERRED TO ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES AND ENERGY, JUNE 14, 2004

                                     AN ACT

     1  Designating the Roaring Creek Tract of the Wyoming State Forest
     2     in Northumberland County and Columbia County as the Senator
     3     Edward W. Helfrick Area of the Wyoming State Forest.

     4     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     5  hereby enacts as follows:
     6  Section 1.  The Senator Edward W. Helfrick Area.
     7     (a)  The 9,020 acres, more or less, in Northumberland County
     8  and Columbia County now known as the Roaring Creek Tract of the
     9  Wyoming State Forest is hereby designated and shall be known as
    10  the Senator Edward W. Helfrick Area of the Wyoming State Forest.
    11     (b)  The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
    12  shall erect and maintain signage that it deems appropriate,
    13  which shall display the name of the Senator Edward W. Helfrick
    14  Area of the Wyoming State Forest.
    15  Section 2.  Effective date.
    16     This act shall take effect immediately.
