AN ACT
1 Authorizing low-interest loans for radon gas mitigation; and
2 making an appropriation.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $5,000,000, or as much thereof as may
6 be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to
7 the Bureau of Radiation Protection in the Department of
8 Environmental Resources for the fiscal year July 1, 1989, to
9 June 30, 1990, for low-interest loans to mitigate radon gas.
10 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1989, or
11 immediately, whichever is later.
