AN ACT 1 Authorizing and directing the Department of General Services, 2 with the approval of the Governor and the Pennsylvania 3 Historical and Museum Commission, to accept by donation a 4 tract of land and any improvements thereon situate in the 5 Borough of Ambridge, Beaver County. 6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania 7 hereby enacts as follows: 8 Section 1. Acquisition authority. 9 The Department of General Services, with the approval of the 10 Governor and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, 11 is hereby authorized on behalf of the Commonwealth of 12 Pennsylvania to accept by donation from the Harmonie Associates, 13 Inc., a tract of land and any improvements thereon described in 14 section 2. 15 Section 2. Property description. 16 The tract of land to be donated by Harmonie Associates, Inc., 17 pursuant to section 1, is located in the Borough of Ambridge, 18 County of Beaver, bounded and described as follows: 19 ALL that certain lot of land situate in the Fourth Ward of the
1 Borough of Ambridge, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, being Lot No. 2 11 in Block No. 8 upon the Village Plan as recorded in Beaver 3 County Plan Book Volume 1, page 241, bounded and described as 4 follows, to-wit: 5 BEGINNING at the southeasterly corner of Church Street and 6 Fourteenth Street; thence eastwardly along the southerly line of 7 Fourteenth Street, 42.2 feet to the dividing line common to Lot 8 Nos. 10 and 11 in said Block, thence southwardly along said 9 dividing line 70 feet to the northerly line of property of the 10 German Lutheran Church; thence westwardly along the northerly 11 line of said Church property, 42.8 feet to the easterly line of 12 Church Street, thence northwardly along the easterly line of 13 Church Street, 70 feet to the southerly line of Fourteenth 14 Street at the place of beginning. 15 CONTAINING an area of approximately 0.07 acres. 16 Section 3. Easements, etc. 17 The donation shall be made under and subject to all 18 recordable easements, servitudes and rights of others, 19 including, but not confined to, streets, roadways and rights of 20 any telephone, telegraph, water, electric, cable, sewer, gas or 21 pipeline companies, as well as under and subject to any 22 recordable interest, estates or tenancies vested in third 23 persons, appearing of record, for any portion of the land or 24 improvements erected thereon. 25 Section 4. Deed. 26 The deed shall be prepared by the grantor as provided by law, 27 subject to approval by the Department of General Services, and 28 accepted on behalf of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by the 29 Department of General Services. 30 Section 5.
