                                     AN ACT

     1  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
     2     Consolidated Statutes, prohibiting restaurants which are not
     3     licensed under the Liquor Code from permitting patrons to
     4     consume alcoholic beverages on the premises.

     5     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     6  hereby enacts as follows:
     7     Section 1.  Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
     8  Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
     9  § 7326.  Permitting consumption of alcoholic beverages on
    10             unlicensed premises.
    11     A person commits a summary offense if he permits the
    12  consumption of alcoholic beverages in any restaurant which is
    13  not licensed under the act of April 12, 1951 (P.L.90, No.21),
    14  known as the Liquor Code. For the purposes of this section, the
    15  term "restaurant" includes any place where food or drink is sold
    16  for consumption on the premises.
    17     Section 2.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
