SENATE BILL

No. 1714 Session of 1990

                                     AN ACT

     1  Designating various portions of U.S. Route 15.

     2     The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
     3  hereby enacts as follows:
     4  Section 1.  Designation of U.S. Route 15.
     5     U.S. Route 15 from the Maryland State line to the New York
     6  State line is hereby designated and shall be known as the Marine
     7  Corps League Memorial Highway, subject to further designations
     8  as follows:
     9         (1)  U.S. Route 15 extending from Selinsgrove to Sunbury
    10     is hereby designated and shall be known as the Charles Attig,
    11     Jr., Memorial Highway.
    12         (2)  U.S. Route 15 extending from Williamsport to the New
    13     York State line is hereby designated and shall be known as
    14     the Appalachian Thruway.
    15         (3)  U.S. Route 15 By-Pass in Mansfield Borough is hereby
    16     designated and shall be known as the Harold G. Strait
    17     Memorial Highway.

     1         (4)  That portion of U.S. Route 15 in Old Lycoming
     2     Township, Lycoming County is hereby designated and shall be
     3     known as the Legani Hanne Trail.
     4  Section 2.  Repeal.
     5     All acts and parts of acts are repealed insofar as they are
     6  inconsistent with this act.
     7  Section 3.  Effective date.
     8     This act shall take effect immediately.
