Subject: | Increase Pensions for Blind and Paralyzed Veterans (Former HB 305) |
In the near future, I will be re-introducing legislation – former House Bill 305 – that would increase both the Pennsylvania paralyzed veterans’ pension and the Pennsylvania blind veterans’ pension by $50 per month. These two vital veterans’ pensions have not been increased since 1999. I believe that additional assistance to our paralyzed veterans in these difficult economic times shows our respect and compassion for those who have given so much to their country. These pension increases from $150 to $200 per month is yet another opportunity to aid these honored veterans. Please join me in sponsoring this important legislation.
