MEMORANDUM

Posted: January 7, 2013 03:44 PM
From: Representative Matthew E. Baker
To: All House members
Subject: Recreational Hunting (Former HB 576)

In the near future, I plan to reintroduce former HB 576. This legislation ensures continued access for recreational hunting on lands managed by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.

This legislation would be subject to valid existing rights. Department-managed lands will be open to access and use for recreational hunting except as limited by the department for reasons of public safety, fish or wildlife management, homeland security or as otherwise limited by law.
