In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution urging Congress and the President of the United States to enact a law to rename the Federal holiday known as “Washington’s Birthday,” which is celebrated on the third Monday of February, as “Presidents’ Day,” in honor and recognition of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. |
