| Subject: | Small Games of Chance New License Fee |
| In the near future, I will be introducing a bill to amend the Small Games of Chance Act to allow for an organization to purchase a license that removes the prize limits for the games of chance. Specifically, an organization could pay an additional $1,000 fee, in addition to the current license fee, to waive the restrictions on the prize limits set forth in the Act. Essentially, if an organization wants to go above the current prize limits (single limit $1000, weekly limit $5000, raffle limit, $10,000), the organization would pay an additional $1,000. Many of the organizations across the Commonwealth are reaching or exceeding the prize limits set forth in the Act and this would give the organizations the option to go above these limits.
