In the near future, I will be introducing the following bills designating bridges and a traffic circle within my district. - Designating a bridge on State Route 116 in Spring Grove Borough, York County, as the
Cameron J. Stambaugh Memorial Bridge. Cameron was a United States Army Specialist and was killed in action, at age 20, while serving his country in Afghanistan on July 8, 2012. - Designating a bridge on the portion of State Route 4002 between Intermediate and Municipal Drives in Dover Borough, York County, as the Zachary R. Clouser Memorial Bridge. Zachary was a Specialist in the United States Army supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was killed in action on July 18, 2007.
- Designating the bridge on State Route 74 between Drawbaugh and Mill Drives, Dover Borough, York County, as the Sergeant Brett E. Walden Memorial Bridge. Sgt. First Class Walden, age 40, was killed in action on August 5, 2005, in Rabiah, Iraq, while serving his nation in the United States Army.
- Designating the bridge on State Route 3072, Hanover Road, near its intersection with
State Route 3092, Lake Road, in Spring Grove Borough, York County as the Corporal Luke S. Runyan Memorial Bridge. Corporal Runyan was killed in combat on February 21, 2008 during a dismounted engagement with insurgents while coming to the aid of another Army Unit in Diyala Province, Iraq. - Designating the traffic circle on State Route 116 at Hanover Road and Roth’s Church Road in Spring Grove, York County, as the Officer David D. Tome Memorial Circle. Police Officer Tome was killed in the line of duty on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, while serving as a member of the Northern York County Regional Police Department. He was 31 years of age.
