Subject: Repeal of May 27, 1965 Act Authorizing the Department of Highways, with the Approval of the Governor, to Erect and Maintain a Toll Bridge over the Monongahela River
 
In the near future I will introduce legislation which repeals an archaic law from May 27, 1965.

The current law allows the Department of Highways, with approval of the Governor, to erect and maintain a bridge over the Monongahela River in Washington & Allegheny Counties.

My legislation would repeal this entire law. PennDOT has stated that it is in full support of repealing this legislation.
