Subject: | Concurrent Resolution: Military Electronic Voting |
Upon our return in June, I will be introducing a Concurrent Resolution calling on the Joint State Government Commission to complete a definitive study on the issue of "Military Electronic Voting," including the examination of existing State and Federal laws relating to the issue. Also, the resolution will ask the Commission to make recommendations to the General Assembly, based on their findings. The Commission will be tasked to complete its work and issue a report to the General Assembly in six months after passage. As I am sure many of you have also received emails from constituents servicing overseas, I respectfully ask for your support and co-sponsorship of this concurrent resolution. Our military service people put themselves out front for the protection of our Commonwealth and our country. We should make it as easy as possible for them to still have their voices heard by being able to vote in local elections. If you have any questions, or need any additional information, please feel free to contact me directly. Or, call Margaret Tricarico at 717-772-5568, Democratic Extension 6168 or mtricari@pahouse.net. Thank you! Prior Co-sponsors: This is a new Resolution. |
