Subject: | Commemorating the Thirteenth Anniversary of 9/11 |
I will be introducing a resolution commemorating the thirteenth anniversary of 9/11 and to honor those who were killed and reflect on the compassion and humanity evidenced in the aftermath of the attacks. On Thursday, September 11, 2014, our nation will mark the thirteenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks upon our nation which took the lives of thousands of innocent civilians and first responders at the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and in the peaceful farmland outside Shanksville, Pennsylvania. I hope you will join me as a cosponsor and in upholding our collective promise to never forget the nearly 3,000 men, women, and children who were killed in the September 11, 2001 attacks. |
