House of Representatives
Session of 2013 - 2014 Regular Session

MEMORANDUM

Posted: October 6, 2014 12:37 PM
From: Representative William F. Adolph, Jr.
To: All House members
Subject: Dan Clark Condolence Resolution

Please join me in sponsoring a Resolution honoring the life and memory of former Member, Daniel F. Clark. Dan was a committed public servant. He served as District Attorney for Juniata County from 1984-1988 and then went on to serve as State Representative for the 82nd Legislative District which is comprised of Juniata County and parts of Mifflin and Snyder Counties from 1989 to 2002. Dan, who served as the Chairman of the House Judiciary Sub-Committee, earned the respect of many people throughout Harrisburg and across the state when he led the House impeachment proceedings of Supreme Court Justice Rolf Larson. More recently, Dan served as legal counsel for the House Appropriations Committee. Dan was a dedicated public servant, but even more than that he was a dedicated family man. He leaves behind his loving wife Debbie, and his children Benjamin, Anna, and Liz who he adored more than anything.
Many members of this Chamber had the privilege of not only calling Dan a colleague, but a friend. He had an infectious smile that always lit up a room. Dan always had the ability to make you laugh and was an extremely gifted attorney who always provided wise counsel. He will be sorely missed by everyone in this Chamber.
Please join me in co-sponsoring this resolution honoring the life and memory of this great public servant.
