Subject: | Resolution Commemorating the 225th Anniversary of the Founding Moon Township |
In the near future I will be introducing a resolution commemorating the 225th Anniversary of the founding of Moon Township, in the 37th Senatorial District. On December 18, 1788, Moon Township became the first of seven townships carved out of Allegheny County. Today the township is home to a number of important industries as well as Robert Morris University and numerous airport-related developments around the Pittsburgh International Airport. Approximately 24,000 residents call this vibrant and growing community their home. Please join me in congratulating Moon Township on the celebration of its 225th anniversary by signing on as a co-sponsor of this resolution. If you have questions about this resolution please contact Tim Golding of my staff at 717-787-5839 or by email at tgolding@pasenate.com. |
