Subject: | Resolution – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) |
In the near future, I plan on introducing a resolution designating the month of October as “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Awareness Month.” ADHD is a neurobehavioral disorder that is one of the most common childhood disorders that can continue through adolescence and adulthood. To date, ADHD affects over six million school-aged children and 4% of adults in the United States. The primary systems include inattention, impulsiveness and hyperactivity. Please join me in sponsoring this legislation. |
