In the near feature, I plan to introduce a resolution recognizing October as Pharmacist Month in Pennsylvania. In keeping with the theme “Know Your MEDICINE, Know Your PHARMACIST”, we recognize the dedication and commitment of our Pennsylvania Pharmacists. Today, pharmacists play an active role in the management of patient care as they work collaboratively with other healthcare providers. Pharmacists also assist in advancing the healthcare field through research, consumer education, and public policy. Please join me in honoring these healthcare professionals by cosponsoring this resolution.
