Subject: | Resolution – Career and Technical Education Month |
Next week, I plan on introducing a resolution designating the month of February as “Career and Technical Education Month” in Pennsylvania. Career and technical education serves the needs of business and industry by delivering programs which meet national skill standards and offer recognized credentials. In addition, career and technical education helps students prepare for postsecondary opportunities and provide them with high-skill, high-wage, and high-demand career choices. “Career and Technical Education Month” serves to increase public understanding and appreciation of the value of career and technical education. Please join me in sponsoring this legislation and acknowledging organizations, like the Pennsylvania Association of Career and Technical Administrators, who strives to promote excellence in career and technical education through leadership, advocacy, and service. |
Introduced as SR296
