Subject: Judicial Tax Sales
 

In the near future, we plan to introduce legislation that would provide counties with a funding source to deal with blight and abandoned properties.

Specifically, our enabling legislation would place a fee, not to exceed 10 percent on the final sale price of a property sold at a judicial sale, with the funds raised used for demolition and property rehabilitation purposes only in that specific county.
