Subject: ATV Safety Week - Heffley
 
I am planning to introduce legislation designating the week of June 6 through June 14, 2015 as All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Week in Pennsylvania.

ATV riding is a very popular activity in Pennsylvania, with more than 300,000 ATVs registered in the state. Riding is a great family activity, and an excellent way to enjoy the great outdoors. ATV riding is also important to rural economies, as thousands of tourists visit the state to ride ATV trails in our state forests and private recreation areas.

Safe riding is an important part of the ATV experience, which is why this resolution encourages every rider to ride responsibly and always follow the golden rules of ATV riding.

Please consider co-sponsoring this resolution for ATV Safety Week.
