Subject: Prohibiting State Pensions from Investing in Companies Boycotting Israel
 

In the near future, I plan to introduce a bill that prohibits state pension funds from investing in foreign companies that boycott Israel. By prohibiting state sponsored pension funds from including in their portfolios companies participating in the boycott, divestment, and sanctions against Israel, the Pennsylvania General Assembly will make a strong point in combating the anti-Israel movement. The State of Israel is the only dependable and democratic ally of the United States in the Middle East.
In the interest of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, please join me in cosponsoring this legislation which will promote America’s close ties with Israel.
